Course Overview

The governmental financial statements are accurate reading of revenues, expenditures and financial flows. These data are usually presented through detailed financial reports issued by the the assigned governmental institution and addressed to decision-makers or regulators. The financial reporting process is subject to a set of unified financial laws to which all governmental institutions are committed. How are these financial reports prepared? Course Objectives

By the end of this course participant will be able to:

  • Know the concept and uses of financial reports according to the scope of government work.
  • Identify the different forms of financial reports and linking them to financial statements.
  • Study the specific laws and regulations of the government financial report format and applying them in writing specialized financial reports.
  • Analyze financial statements of all types to issue the financial report.
  • Study government financial reports that reflect cash flows, resource list and budget reports.
  • Evaluate the financial performance of any governmental organization and being able to address the regulatory bodies through governmental financial reports.
