According to the national agenda for the UAE vision of a "cohesive society preserving its identity", the UAE government aims to be among the top five in the world by 2021, according to the Global Happiness Index. To achieve this, the National Project for Happiness and Quality of Life was launched to prepare happiness ambassadors through three stages: a happiness specialist, a happiness consultant, and finally a happiness ambassador capable of proposing and following up initiatives related to happiness and quality of life in various fields.
