Course Overview

Artificial intelligence is defined as the intelligence shown by machines and programs to mimic human mental abilities and modes of action, such as the ability to learn, infer and react to situations that have not been programmed into the machine. It is also the name of an academic field on how to make computers and programs capable of intelligent behavior, Study and design intelligent systems that accommodate their environment and take actions that increase their chances of success. "John McCarthy, who developed the term in 1955, defines it as the science and engineering of intelligent machines. Based on these simplified definitions, this course will take you to a more specialized stage in understanding the principles and applications of artificial intelligence, challenges and risks. You will learn about the latest findings of Artificial Intelligence in teaching and developing machine capabilities.
